SHARON OSBOURNE Reveals Fire Trauma

August 18, 2006

According to Mirror.co.uk, Sharon Osbourne has spoken for the first time of her horror at the blaze that wrecked the family's British home.

Ozzy's wife/manager said: "Fire is the one thing I'm terrified of.

"You can't put into words how frightening it is."

Sharon, 54, said Ozzy's pet dog Maggie suffered from smoke inhalation in the electrical fire, which broke out last month at their £5 million house in Bucks.

She said: "Maggie had to have a little doggie oxygen mask and valium to calm her down. But all the dogs have recovered now."

Sharon, whose new daily ITV1 talk show in the U.K. starts on August 29, added: "We are living in hotels and renting — but everyone is OK."

In other news, WENN reports that Sharon Osbourne is recruiting contestants for a new dating show in the U.K., which will see the outspoken matriarch help contestants find love.

Sharon has already cut her presenting teeth with her own U.S. talk show and a place on the panel of judges for British talent show "The X Factor".

And she is keen to conquer primetime TV in her own right.

An online ad reads, "Sharon Osbourne's new show is looking for people for a fun dating game.

"If you want to meet new people and find love, e-mail your details."
